Installed tuners, string retainers and strap buttons. I kept with the sliver/black theme on the head, and used chrome for the strap buttons. I did two roller retainers, keeping with the ‘too much’ hardware look of this guitar. This build is much more glam than my usual taste, but I’m really digging it. I’m still dialing in the setup, getting rid of fret buzz, sorting out intonation, etc.

Note - I had to modify the standard “ashtray” style tele bridge to allow the strings to pass through to the Bigsby. This was pretty simple - a few strokes with a file cut the “v”-shaped notches (see image).

I love playing this thing. Sounds great so far, plugged into few different amps. Makes me want to play more country!

All in all, I’m super happy with this build. Looking forward to doing the new pickguard and a bespoke neck.
