The Larch (Larix Laricina, commonly known as tamarack) is a deciduous conifer whose green needle-shaped leaves turn gold and shed in the fall.

The Larch is fast growing and disease resistant.

Knot-free, durable, waterproof larch is used to construct boats and homes. And is often used for bonsai.

The Larch was also wildly pilloried by Monty Python.
